MCP

Use Lexicon from your coding tool

A Starter, Professional, or Business account can connect Claude Code, Cursor, or Claude Desktop to Lexicon. The tools start an audit, read the stored report, and recheck one page. They use the same monthly audit allowance and page cap as the dashboard.

Create a key in settings after you sign in. Copy it when it is shown. Lexicon stores a hash of the key, not the key. Put the key in the config below in place of YOUR_API_KEY. Treat the key like a password and do not commit it. A Free account gets an upgrade error until you move to a paid plan.

Endpoint

The server is https://lexiconseo.com/mcp. Each request sends Authorization: Bearer and the key. A Starter key can make 30 requests a minute, Professional 60, and Business 120. A request past that limit is refused until the next minute.

Tools

Claude Code

From a terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http lexicon https://lexiconseo.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

Or add this to .mcp.json. Claude Code also accepts Bearer ${LEXICON_API_KEY} when the key is in the environment.

      "headers": {

      }
    }
  }
}

Cursor

Put this in .cursor/mcp.json in a project, or in ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project. Cursor also accepts Bearer ${env:LEXICON_API_KEY}.

      }
    }
  }
}

Claude Desktop

Open Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Use the URL https://lexiconseo.com/mcp. Choose no sign-in. Under Request headers, set the name to authorization and the value to Bearer YOUR_API_KEY, including the word Bearer and the space. Request headers are in beta. If that section is missing, add this to claude_desktop_config.json (on macOS, ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json). It uses the mcp-remote bridge.
